Accommodation Details
The Symposium will be organized across two major locations in New Delhi. Participants are advised to choose accommodation based on their convenience and proximity to the respective event venues.
The Technical Sessions of the Symposium will be held from September 26–28, 2026 at the IIT Delhi Campus, located near the Hauz Khas area of New Delhi.
IIT Delhi is well connected by the Delhi Metro. The IIT Delhi Metro Station is on the Magenta Line, which connects with the Yellow Line at Hauz Khas station.
The Magenta Line runs from Noida in the east to Janakpuri in the west, while the Yellow Line runs from Badli in the north to Gurgaon (Gurugram) in the south.
Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, Green Park, Safdarjung Development Area (SDA), R.K. Puram, Munirka, Vasant Vihar and Adhchini.
The Inauguration, Keynote Address and Symposium Banquet will be held on September 25, 2026, in the afternoon at the National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL).
CSIR-NPL is located near the Karol Bagh area and is conveniently connected by the Delhi Metro Blue Line.
Karol Bagh or New Rajendra Place — approximately 10–15 minutes' walk to CSIR-NPL.
The localities mentioned above offer a number of guest houses, B&Bs, hotels and hostel-type accommodations that student participants can book through various accommodation and travel apps.
As the academic semester will be in progress, hostel accommodation will not be available in bulk . However, participants who have friends residing in hostels may be able to stay as guests, subject to the applicable hostel rules. Please check with your friend regarding this possibility.
Accommodation Assistance: Participants are encouraged to arrange their accommodation independently. However, in case of difficulty, they may approach the organizers for assistance.
Apply for Accommodation Assistance →We can arrange limited accommodation in selected hotels and guest houses. The approximate cost will be ₹1,500–₹2,000 per person per day including breakfast, based on shared accommodation.
We will also make every possible effort to accommodate female students within the IIT Delhi campus or in nearby areas, subject to availability.
For faculty members and other professionals (other than invited and plenary speakers), a range of 3-star, 4-star and 5-star accommodation options are available around IIT Delhi.
Typical 3-star hotels and guest houses cost approximately ₹4,000–₹5,000 for a double room, while 5-star hotels typically cost around ₹14,000–₹16,000 for a double room.
Participants are encouraged to book their accommodation independently through online travel and hotel booking platforms.
